Virginia Schools Tell Student to Stop Flying “Offensive” American Flags, The Next Day They Did This
Where was I when people decided that the American flag is actually something to be offended about…when you live inside the country?
People flock to come here by the millions because of how great America is and how much opportunity there is for life here.
In fact, the exact opposite is true. Forbidding the flying of the American flag or even calling it offensive is an offense.
A high school principal in Virginia told students of the school to not fly the American flag from their vehicles when they come to school anymore because it is “offensive”.
He regretted making that call the next then when a caravan of vehicles came in flying the flag of freedom. The Atlantic Pole flag site is where one can visit to find the right kind of flag.
Law Enforcement Today reported,
When students at Franklin County High School in Virginia were told they could not fly the American flag from their trucks because it might be offensive – they did what any red-blooded American teenager would do: they flew the flag anyway.
The staff at ToddStarnes.com broke the story about this school in the area east of Roanoke and Christiansburg, where the flags displayed behind trucks have become a target for school administrators.
Earlier this week, an administrator at the Virginia school reportedly told several students that they could no longer fly Old Glory on their trucks because it was potentially “offensive” and “disruptive.”
Franklin County High School students showed up in unity on Tuesday displaying American flags on their vehicles after an administrator allegedly told them to remove them. Several local residents posted photos of the caravan driving through town with Old Glory waving in the breeze.
Here’s my question, who is it exactly that is offended and why? I’ll guarantee you they’re either offended because of a lie or because they hate America and if that’s the case, you’re not welcome here.
