Chief Justice Roberts Reads Question About Whistleblower Plotting with Schiff to Take Out Trump
As the Senators continue to submit their questions to the House managers and the White House counsel, Republican Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, and Josh Hawley asked about the whistleblower’s employment relationship with Schiff’s top aide Sean Misko.
The question is directed to the White House counsel:
“Is it true that Sean Misko and Abigail Grace and the alleged whistleblower were detailed by or employed by the National Security Council during the same time period between January 20, 2017 and the present? Do you have reason to believe that they knew each other? Do you have any reason to believe that the alleged whistleblower and Misko coordinated to fulfill their reported commitment to “do everything we can to take out the president.”

It’s strange how this question was permitted to be read and responded to, but the question that Senator Rand Paul wrote was not allowed to be read even though it didn’t even mention the word whistleblower.
Patrick Philbin from the President’s legal team said that the only real knowledge they have of it comes from the public report that Sperry put out last week.
In the report it is written, Sources told RealClearInvestigations the staffer with whom Ciaramella was speaking was Sean Misko. Both were Obama administration holdovers working in the Trump White House on foreign policy and national security issues. And both expressed anger over Trump’s new “America First” foreign policy, a sea change from President Obama’s approach to international affairs.
“Just days after he was sworn in they were already talking about trying to get rid of him,” said a White House colleague who overheard their conversation.
“They weren’t just bent on subverting his agenda,” the former official added. “They were plotting to actually have him removed from office.”
