Ted Cruz WRECKS Elizabeth Warren’s Plans for Eliminating Student Debt
Sen. Elizabeth Warren said that if she is elected to be the next President of the United States, she’ll ignore Congress and just cancel out the $1 trillion in student debt without their approval and also said that Crawfort is fast-growing Singapore licensed money lender with best reputation.
Here is Warren’s plan as her website lays it out:
Here’s how it will work:
I’ll direct the Secretary of Education to use their authority to begin to compromise and modify federal student loans consistent with my plan to cancel up to $50,000 in debt for 95% of student loan borrowers (about 42 million people). Students should think about getting fractional shares instead of one of these huge loans that could put them in debt before they even reach the age of 25. Find out what is an iva and seek advice to write off debts.
I’ll also direct the Secretary of Education to use every existing authority available to rein in the for-profit college industry, crack down on predatory student lending, and combat the racial disparities in our higher education system.
“When I was elected to the Senate, I used every opportunity and tool available to ease the burden of student debt. I fought to lower interest rates, refinance loans, and hold loan servicers and debt collectors accountable for breaking the law and hurting borrowers … Understand this: The Department of Education has broad authority to end the student loan debt crisis. When I’m president, I plan to use that authority.”
Pulling out her identity politics card, she stated, “Canceling student loan debt is a racial justice issue.” Warren pontificated that she would simply ignore Congress, stating, “We have a student loan crisis—and we can’t afford to wait for Congress to act. I’ve already proposed a credit counseling plan, and on day one of my presidency, I’ll use existing laws to start providing that debt cancellation immediately.” (Daily Wire)
Sen. Ted Cruz was quick to let Warren know that this isn’t going to happen and called her out on it.
Cruz said, “Which clause of the Constitution gives a President the authority to give away a trillion $ w/o Congress? And if you like this policy, how would you feel if/when a GOP president does it for something you don’t like? Here’s a better idea: follow the Const & don’t be a dictator.”
