Liberal Teacher Puts Disturbing Note in Students’ Backpacks, Parents Are Livid!
A recently hired teacher at an elementary school in Florida rubbed the parents of the students completely the wrong way when she joined the school.
Chloe Bressack is a new math and science teacher at the school and she wanted to introduce herself to the parents. But the letter that she sent was very alarming.
“… my pronouns are ‘they, them, their’ instead of ‘he, his, she, hers.’ I know it takes some practice for it to feel natural,” the letter reads, “but students catch on pretty quickly.”
The letter also demands that the students call their teacher “Mx.,” (pronounced ‘Mix’) instead of saying Mr., Ms., or Mrs.
Here’s what the letter said in its entirety:
About Mx. Bressack
I am very excited to work with you this year! I know that we have a bit of a jumbled start, but I’m sure that we’ll settle down quickly and finish the year before we know it. Before I joined the family here at Canopy Oaks, I served as a digital education special area teacher for grades K-5 at Florida State University Schools (Florida High). I am from the Pensacola area, but I went to school at FSU and have lived in Tallahassee ever since!
One thing that you should know about me is that I use gender neutral terms. My prefix is Mx. (pronounced Mix). Additionally, my pronouns are “they, them, their” instead of “he, his, she, hers”. I know it takes some practice for it to feel natural, but in my experience students catch on pretty quickly. We’re not going for perfection, just making an effort! Please feel free to reach out to me or administration if you have any questions. My priority is for all of my students to be comfortable in my classroom and have a space where they can be themselves while learning.
We have a lot of fun activities planned this year, and I am so excited that I have joined the team here at Canopy oaks! I can’t wait to get to know all of you!
Your teacher,
Mx. Bressack
Parents were angered by the letter, and I would be too. No one should be able to force my child to buy into the fantasy world of gender changing.
Just consider this one more reason to pull your children out of public schools.
