Ranking Member On Judiciary Committee Reveals Republicans’ Most Important Witness in Impeachment Hearings
After the first round of impeachment hearings by the House Intelligence Committee, it’s times for the House Judiciary Committee to call their witnesses. This time Republicans will actually get an opportunity to call some of the individuals they want and ranking member Doug Collins has one person in mind, Adam Schiff.
Collins wants to call Schiff to testify because this whole thing revolves around him. Honestly, if Schiff were to have fallen over dead before the start of the hearings, this whole impeachment scam would have been over.
Collins gave his reasoning why on Fox News Sunday,
“Oh, of course. We’re going to testify. The first and foremost, the first person that needs to testify is Adam Schiff. Adam Schiff is the author of this report. Adam Schiff has been the author of many things, a lot of them found to be false over the past couple of years. But he’s going to be the author of this report.”
Collins continued, “He’s compared himself in the past to a special counsel. This is what he said he was doing. Well, if we go back to Clinton and even back to Nixon, but in Clinton, Ken Starr was the special counsel, he presented a report that we’re going to get his judiciary. He actually came and sat and testified under oath and took questions from all sides, including the White House. My first and foremost witness is Adam Schiff.”
Who really knows what crazy antics are going to happen this time. We repeatedly saw Schiff on a power trip and violating many of the rules of the Committee. It wouldn’t surprise me the least bit if Jerry Nadler, who is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee follows Schiff’s lead.
Nadler stated that President Trump was welcome to come and testify as well, but the White House issued a statement that he has declined. It makes sense though, why would he even need to testify at this point?
