Mexican President Has A Message For Trump Declaring Cartels As Terrorist Organizations
President Trump recently offered to help Mexico deal with all the drug cartels
Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrado said that he is up for cooperation, but not interventionism. In other words, he doesn’t want the U.S. to send in troops to wipe out the drug cartels, but he’s open to American troops coming over and assisting their troops in doing things their way…which is to hug it out.
Trump has said earlier this week when talking with Bill O’Reilly,
“One of the things that you’ve said to me … is that if another country murdered 100,000 Americans with guns, we would go to war with that country. Yet, the Mexican drug cartels kill more than 100,000 Americans every year by the importation of dangerous narcotics.”
“Are you going to designate those cartels in Mexico as terror groups and start hitting them with drones and things like that?” O’Reilly asked.
“I don’t want to say what I am going to do, but they will be designated. I’ve already offered Mexico … to let us go in and clean it out and he so far has rejected the offer but at some point something has to be done. Look, we are losing 100,000 people a year to what is happening and what is coming through on Mexico.”
So it’s obvious that Trump wants to combat the cartels and take them. This would solve so many problems in America.
It would get rid of a large portion of the drug problem, it would get rid of a lot of illegal immigration, it would get rid of a lot of human trafficking, it would reduce the number of violent crimes that we see as the border and even in Mexico. If you recall, this decision recently came about as a result of some Americans being killed by drug cartels in Mexico.
