Hundreds of People Now Regretting Their Sex Change, Want To Change Back
How many of you have known someone who was once gay, but it not any longer?
I’ve known a lot of people like that, mostly from when I was younger. I can recall going to high school with probably a dozen people who were homosexual for a while, but then they stopped and are no longer that way. Almost all of them now are married and have children.
The point I’m trying to make is people change. I’ll admit that when people are young, they want to experiment with life. Some more so than others, but people experiment, then in many cases abandon that lifestyle. So it goes with sex change as well.
There is a problem though in making the decision to make a “sex change”, it’s not really something that can be undone. People are making decisions to undergo dangerous and unhealthy changes to their bodies for something that they eventually change their mind about and regret.
According to MSN,
Charlie Evans, 28, was born female but identified as male for nearly 10 years.
Last year, she detransitioned and went public with her story – and said she was stunned by the number of people she discovered in a similar position.
“I’m in communication with 19 and 20-year-olds who have had full gender reassignment surgery who wish they hadn’t, and their dysphoria hasn’t been relieved, they don’t feel better for it,” she says.
“They don’t know what their options are now.”
Charlie says she has been contacted by “hundreds” of people seeking help – 30 people alone in her area of Newcastle.
“I think some of the common characteristics are that they tend to be around their mid-20s, they’re mostly female and mostly same-sex attracted, and often autistic as well.”
In all honesty, undergoing a sex change procedure will not fix anything. First of all, there is nothing to fix except the mental state of the individual willing to mutilate their body for the sake of being more like what they think they are.
