Recent developments have surfaced in the impeachment process. According to RealClear Politics, there is strong evidence to suggest that they have discovered who the whistleblower is.

Adam Schiff’s whistleblower is believed to be a man by the name of Eric Ciaramella.

Ciaramella is a registered Democrat (which we already knew) and has worked for both former CIA Director John Brennan and even with former VP Joe Biden.

According to OANN,

Ciaramella left the National Security Council in 2017 to return to the CIA. An official interviewed by RealClear Politics said Ciaramella has been accused of working against the president.

Following the release of the report, Ciaramella’s legal team issued a statement. Attorneys Mark Zaid and Andrew Bakaj said they can “neither confirm nor deny the identity of the Intelligence Community Whistleblower.” They went on to caution against speculation, claiming that it can cause harm to any person who may be suspected to be the whistleblower.

“Disclosure of the name of any person who may be suspected to be the whistleblower places that individual and their family in great physical danger,” read the statement. “Such behavior is at the pinnacle of irresponsibility and is intentionally reckless.”

As of the time of this writing, this information has not yet been confirmed. His name has been circulating for months though as a likely candidate for who the whistleblower could be.

Ciaramella was once with the National Security Council and then went to work at the CIA.

I believe that we should soon find out about the true identity of the whistleblower, especially after the House votes to proceed with impeachment.
